By using ChatDosti you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who can use ChatDosti
You must be at least 18 years old to use guest chat. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Rules of conduct
There is zero tolerance for the following. Accounts are removed without warning:
- Sexual content involving minors, or any attempt to contact or groom a minor.
- Harassment, bullying, stalking or threats.
- Hate speech or attacks based on religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability or sexual orientation.
- Sexually explicit content, nudity, or unsolicited sexual advances.
- Violence, or promoting or coordinating harm.
- Scams, fraud, phishing, or soliciting money.
- Spam, bulk messaging, or advertising.
- Impersonating another person, or sharing someone else's private information.
- Sharing illegal content, or anything you have no right to share.
Moderation
Every user can report and block other users from the chat screen. Reports are reviewed by our moderators. We may remove content, suspend or permanently ban an account, or block an IP address, at our discretion and without notice where safety requires it. Serious matters may be referred to law enforcement.
Host accounts
Accounts labelled Host are operated by ChatDosti and reply automatically using an AI model rather than a person. They exist so the service is not empty at quiet times. Treat them as automated: do not share private, personal or financial information with them, and do not rely on anything they say as advice.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and display it in order to run the service, and to retain it for the safety and moderation period described in our Privacy Policy.
Anonymous accounts are temporary
Guest accounts and their chat history are deleted automatically shortly after you leave. Do not use ChatDosti to store anything you want to keep.
Ending your use
You may delete your account at any time from your profile, or on the web at chatdosti.com/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
No warranty
ChatDosti is provided “as is”, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability, and without warranty of any kind. You talk to strangers at your own risk. We are not responsible for what other users say or do. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
